Time flies when you have fun and, apparently, time flies when you’re very, very busy. There’s no excuse for not posting anything for two months but there’s an awful lot going on.
If I’ve worked it out correctly.I have seven projects on the go at the moment with three people to speak to about starting new projects over the coming weeks. A lot of it has been tying up lose ends, dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s I suppose but it’s these last minute checks and changes that can make such a difference to a site.
The last client site to go live was Dainty’s Electrical (http://www.daintysonline.co.uk/), a kitchen appliance company based in Beeston (near Nottingham). As well as providing the appliances themselves, they also repair them, a useful company to know.
In the pipeline there is work for:
- A driver training company
- An independent financial advisor
- A bespoke furniture manufacturer
- A wrapping and palletising company
- A ski school, a company I’ve worked with now for 10 years.
- An “night out” site
- and a secret site that I' can’t talk about yet but shouldn’t be too far away (we’re waiting for 3rd parties – banks – to sort themselves out, not an uncommon problem)
Plus the usual small bits and pieces of work that come through from current clients who just need a little change making – changes I’m happy to do. I also still seem to be the man to fix PCs for everyone (I worked in IT Support fox 6 years up until 1999) so there' is a PC in my office that has either a failed motherboard or a short circuit somewhere.
So I am here, I am very busy, and while I’ve been writing this I’ve thought about the next blog post I need to write so it won’t be two months till the next one.
